Back Stage Pass {VS Fashion Show 2010}

It's that time of year again!

I love the VS Fashion Show for the creatively designed lingerie and fun vibe.  All the models just seem to be having the time of their lives up on the stage.  Unfortunately my favorite angel will not be there tonight since she's expecting {won't her and Orlando Bloom make a beautiful baby? hehe}.

We're any of you brave enough to venture out for Black Friday shopping?

I usually avoid the day, but for the past 3 years I've have to work it. {I've kept on my summer job during the weekends when the school year started, and everyone works black friday!}

The first year I worked black friday it wasn't that bad, 

last year was actually fun {we opened at 3am},

this year I worked 12am-8am and it was crazy!  

It amazes me how much of a sport this day has become. 

so how about you?  score any great deals and/or have any crazy stories to share?

What I learned this Weekend...

*that listening to Christmas music and seeing the stores all decorated makes shopping just a little more fun (then it already is) hehe 

*that even at the age of 25 it's still possible to have a school girl crush on someone {expect this time we're co-workers, not classmates}

*that being spontaneous and stepping out of the day-to-day routine is refreshing and almost always leads to happiness. 

*that everyone needs to read this inspirational list {39 ways to live, and not merely exists}

*that I'm totally swept up in the spirit of the holiday, and even though we usually wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate for Christmas, seeing the lights up on our house and on our neighbors' homes makes me even more excited for the season. 

*that I have become a workaholic.  Do I really need 3 jobs? (no)

*that sometimes good news for a friend can bring you just as much happiness as it does for them :)

5 Senses Friday

 

seeing: the bright sunshine. after a couple days of rain, I welcome the sun with open arms.

smelling:  Twilight Woods perfume.  my favorite sent this time of year.

hearing: Oprah's cheering audience on the TV. Oh how I wish I could have been in the audience for her favorite things show!

tasting: the Pumpkin Pie milkshake a co-worker made for me, simply scrumptious. 

feeling: excited for the weekend, and upcoming holiday.

OMG! That did not just happen!

what's been on my mind...

(in case you were wondering...) hehe

...who exactly is voting for Bristol Palin on Dancing with The Stars?  I have nothing against the girl, but she just wasn't as good as the other dancers.  come on, Brandy deserves to be in the finals way more then Bristol does.

...Eva Longoria and Tony Parker are not getting a divorce are they?!?! I thought they were so good together.  This makes me sad. :(

 ...on a happy note, I think Kate Middleton will make a wonderful princess.  and what a great love story these two have!  if only I could have met and fell in love with a prince in college, but stuff like that only happens in the movies...

...I still find it odd that Julianna Hough is dating Ryan Seacrest, just as odd as these two, and these two...


...is it really only 1 week until Thanksgiving?!  why is time going by so fast?!  {I think I've just been so busy time is flying by w/o me even knowing it...}

Jayden Alexander

8lbs 7oz

21 inches long

We had a busy Sunday morning when my Aunt called to tell us that she was taking my cousin and his girlfriend to the hospital.  Almost 12 hours later and this bundle of joy came into the world.  {it was nice to finally go to the hospital for something good} I'm so excited for the newest addition to our family!  He's a perfect baby boy. :-)
